Server Cache Settings changed

Monday, 27 March 2006

The web server is now instructing browsers to use cached data.

This may mean that you need to refresh content (Ctl-F5) more regularly than in the past.

The instruction is sent out in the form of a header that you don't see but your browser does. The browser uses this to determine whether it should ask the server for content or if it should just display the contents of it's own cache.

You can modify your browser's behaviour by modifying it's Options settings. You can also demand the latest content by pressing Ctl-F5
